Zachary Christeson
With over 20 years of experience, Zach leads HOK’s planning, urban design and landscape architecture studio in Texas. He is based in Houston. Zach collaborates with integrated teams of architects, interior designers, planners, and landscape architects to deliver a diverse array of projects across the U.S. and internationally. His designs seamlessly integrate economic value, social impact and environmental resilience, creating spaces that enhance people’s lives and the communities they inhabit.
Zach’s extensive portfolio includes urban and suburban projects spanning various sectors, such as life sciences, corporate, mixed-use, community, educational and healthcare campuses, public space, streetscape and greenway projects, hotels, sports and entertainment venues, and multimodal transportation hubs and systems.
Zach is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he contributes knowledge and insights to help shape the future of urban design and landscape architecture. He is certified as a Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
Steve Jimenez
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Steve Jimenez is a former active duty Marine devoted to his three beautiful daughters and passionately committed to integrating people, nature, and technology to make the world a better place. Upon his return from Operation Enduring Freedom, he had a successful career as a consultant focused on scaling Fortune 500 businesses. In 2018, He founded Hives for Heroes®, a national nonprofit service organization focusing on honey bee conservation and providing a healthy transition from service. Steve holds a Bachelor’s from Texas A&M University, a Master’s from the Naval Postgraduate School, and earned an MBA from Rice University. Steve was named one of Houston Business Journal’s "40 under 40”, is a Texas Business Hall of Fame Future Texas Legend Awardee, and a recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award presented by President Joe Biden.
