Associates Committee
The goal is to provide support, education, and expertise as industry partners to the facility managers of Houston, and to provide guidance to vendors in adhering to professional marketing and selling guidelines.

Golf Invitational & Fundraiser
The Golf Committee is seeking high-quality volunteers to assist in executing the Houston Chapters premier golf event. Whether you’re a golf novice, an avid fan, a new volunteer, or have been a long-standing volunteer for years, this is the committee for you. Our annual event provides volunteers with a wonderful opportunity to contribute, network and support two great causes in one.

IFMA Cares Committee
The IFMA Cares Committee is the Houston chapter's community service committee. The IFMA Houston Cares committee demonstrates social responsibility by giving back to the community through restoration projects for various nonprofit organizations. The IFMA Cares Committee organizes philanthropic activities in which committee and general members can participate throughout the year.

Membership
The objective of the Membership committee is to grow and retain membership for the chapter. We also serve as ambassadors for the Houston Chapter to ensure a positive experience for guests, as well as current members, at all Chapter functions.

Professional Development
Provides regular and ongoing programs geared to the continuing professional development of its members' quarterly seminars, tours, and other educational opportunities through the International association.
Programs
The Programs Committee plans our monthly chapter programs. The primary goal of this committee is to address the educational needs of our professional members through monthly presentations where members learn best practices in Facilities Management. This committee meets monthly to brainstorm current events, new practices, and interesting ideas in order to provide fresh topics for each monthly meeting.
Social Media
In coordination with marketing and events committees, the social media committee is responsible for advertisements to go on social media networks, posting of upcoming events and posting of event photos.

Special Events
The Social & Special Events committee is responsible for planning, promoting and executing of Chapter social gatherings including the Holiday Party, Fish Fry, Casino Night, Social and other activities as directed. Members of these committees are fun, energetic and always looking for ways to provide an upbeat experience at all Chapter events.

Sponsorship

The Sustainability Committee looks for new and inventive ways for facility managers to lower their energy, waste, water, etc. for the firms they serve.
