Blueprints to a Sustainable Future: Net Zero Pathways Explored
**IFMA Houston Chapter will recognize World FM Day during the May Lunch Program.**
Program Description:
Net Zero is being discussed more than ever which spurs a multitude of questions about what Net Zero really means and how we get there. Join HOK’s Elizabeth Baxter and Greg Sherman as they present several case studies of Net Zero projects and walk through pathways and strategies to get to Net Zero or be Net Zero Ready.
IFMA Houston Chapter will recognize World FM Day during the May Lunch Program.
This session will be submitted for AIA credit.

Speaker Bios:
Elizabeth Baxter, AIA, LEED ID+C, Fitwel Ambassador
Elizabeth Baxter is a Senior Sustainable Design Specialist at HOK in Houston, Texas. As a licensed architect, she has worked on a variety of projects including experience in aviation and healthcare, with a focus mainly on commercial and corporate projects. From sustainability guidelines consulting to performance analysis and sustainability certifications, Elizabeth is involved throughout the life of a project and coordinates with clients to incorporate more intentional sustainability strategies. Along with managing projects, and in alignment with her passion for wellness and sustainability, she is actively involved in HOK’s firmwide Materials Initiative, acting as sustainability advisor to the internal group of interior design liaisons working to reduce the carbon footprint of our projects and create healthier spaces.
Greg Sherman PE, Leed AP BD+C | Principal, Engineering Practice Leader
Greg Sherman is the Engineering Practice Leader at HOK for the MEP Engineering Practice. With over 14 years of experience at HOK, Greg excels in solving complex problems for clients across various sectors like corporate, science and technology, aviation and government projects. He fosters collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions. His passion lies in creating built environments that meet today's needs while ensuring a sustainable future.
