Future of Real Estate & Design Trends
Sven Govaars and Dean Strombom, Gensler

Overview:

If research shows that 64% of knowledge workers want a private office as opposed to 13% who would prefer an open workstation, why do designers continue to push for open work environments where distractions and disruptions keep users from performing at their highest level?

This presentation will explore:
1. The overemphasized benefits of collaborative workplaces.
2. A re-focus on individual and group focused work
3. Work places that actually support the way we work
