Please register for the "Awards Nomination" to submit for the following awards.

Best Practices Awards

• Sustainable Building – New Building
• Sustainable Building – Existing Building
• Small Project (<50,000sf)
• Medium Project (50,000 – 150,000 sf)
• Large Project (>150,000 sf)
• Leading Edge Element
• Great Building Solution
• Technology Solution

These awards are presented to the individual or team whose facility management program, project, system innovation, or idea has had a substantial, positive effect on the success of their organization.  The recipients(s) will demonstrate how their project impacted business objectives and contributed to improved success.  The award winner(s) will demonstrate innovation, and their achievements will be used to educate other facility management professionals. This award is intended to honor those who achieve “above and beyond” the normal scope of job responsibilities.  Entries should fall within at least one of the following categories:  communication skills; leadership and management; finance; benchmarking; human and environmental factors; maintenance and operations; planning and project management; quality assessment and innovation; strategic sourcing; or technology.

Guidelines for Submissions Content:

• Basis for submissions/achievements
• Comprehensiveness of program
• Uniqueness of project or process
• Value to the profession and/or organization(s) involved
• Challenges surmounted and/or addressed
• Creativity employed in the project or process

Projects submitted should have been completed after 2011 to now.  

Please be aware that incomplete nominations will not be included for judging. It is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure the completeness of their nomination.
