Sofia has 20 years of experience in pre-design services providing visioning, workplace innovation, change management, programming and space planning services for institutional and corporate clients with a specialty in educational and corporate campuses. She has experience on a variety of project types and is passionate about aligning business strategies with visions for the built environment. Her expertise spans through the US, Canada, Mexico and South America. She is the editor of the fourth edition of Problem Seeking, the architectural primer in programming, and has lectured about the role that consultants play in pre-design services. She currently teaches workshops at the University of Houston, College of Architecture Masters Thesis Program. She has a Master degree in Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture Honors College.
