Letter from the President

First I want to thank the association for allowing me to serve as the new IFMA President (2018 and 2019) and be a part of an organization that not only gives knowledge back to our peers, provides strong community stewardship, but fosters friendships within our industry. I am aware that I follow in the footsteps of some great leaders.

These next two years will bring with it new opportunities, new challenges and—I can confidently predict—a new list of accomplishments. Our board is excited about the opportunity to give something back to our membership and all should look forward to a year of learning, networking and, together, create the value of membership for the chapter and organization.

I want to assure our current and prospective members that the intention of this board is to grow the Houston Chapter without limits. We will stay focused on demonstrating the value of IFMA membership, and what the knowledge of keeping up with current industry standards and requirements can provide.

We look forward to a productive successful year and invite each of you to participate, and most important become involved.
