Architecture Design Professional at HOK
Elizabeth Widaski is an Architecture Design Professional at HOK in Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Architecture degree from Clemson University. As a part of HOK’s design group, Elizabeth has focused mainly on commercial and corporate projects within the Houston area. She is thorough and detail-oriented, enabling her to bring client visions to reality. Passionate about wellness and sustainability, she is a LEED Green Associate and an active member of the Sustainability Task Force for HOK’s Texas Region.
Senior Horticulturist & Manager of Strategic Partnerships
Mr. Osborn earned his BS in Horticulture with a Minor in plant breeding from Pennsylvania State University. He then attended Michigan State University to earn an MS in Plant Genetics and Breeding.
After grad school, Chad worked at Monrovia Growers® as the New Plant Manager. Working with the Director of New Plants for Monrovia, he corresponded with numerous plant breeding houses around the world acquiring new germplasm to evaluate in Monrovia’s 6 trial locations around the US.
Mr. Osborn was recruited from Monrovia to manage the Chicagoland Grows® Inc. program, a well-respected national plant breeding/introduction program based out of the Chicago Botanic Garden and The Morton Arboretum.
After Chicagoland Grows®, Mr. Osborn was hired at SageGreenLife as their Senior Horticulturist. Chad has worked with Sage for over 8 years and has developed and managed the company’s horticulture department; including all botany related questions, but also including lighting and fertilizer issues. Chad is in charge of research and development in all of these fields for the company. Working with Botanic Gardens, Universities, and private companies, Mr. Osborn has been focusing on identifying plant pallets that work (indoors and outdoors) for all the diverse areas of the entire United States and into Canada.
Chad is a certified Green Plants for Green Buildings trainer, traveling and interacting with the public and professionals presenting and educating business and groups about Living Walls and the Sage Vertical Garden System.
Vice President of Business Development for McCoy-Rockford
Kim Bishop is Vice President of Business Development for McCoy-Rockford and has over 28 years of commercial furniture industry experience. She also serves as a team lead to numerous global accounts, providing insight and expertise. Kim has been an active member of IFMA for over 15 years, serving in various roles such as chair of the Programs Committee and member of the Board of Directors for the Houston Chapter.
Kim holds a BS in Organizational Communications from The University of Texas. She and her husband Ian have 2 sons: Shawn studies engineering at Texas A&M and Brent is a high school senior committed to play Division 1 lacrosse at Mercer University in the fall.
